Summary
The Board of Education will conduct a review of its Operating Norms and Communication Processes to determine if changes need to be made to either document.

Burkett wants to change line item #11 and strike "to business use" from "Limit use of electronic devices during Board meetings to business use. Would like to change line item #14, "Provide professional courtesy to school principals prior to school visits with notification to the
Superintendent.", to say notification could have a 24 hour notice, when possible, but should not be necessary. Burkett said when he asked principals all said they were fine with drop in visits.

Evans said he can support Burkett's changes.

McCusker on #11: Doesn't necessarily want to change it unless it says "for emergency use"- feels it is hypocritical to allow it when we put such an emphasis on no phones for staff or students.

Murry agrees on #11 for emergencies- agreed with Ashley.

Guessford reminded that these were just guidelines, they are not rules.

No one had any changes for communication processes.
